Apothica Teas

ApothicaTeas is a Victorian steampunk-inspired tea room and retail shop located in downtown Niles, Michigan. They specialize in hand-blended loose-leaf teas, offering a massive selection of over 60–100 varieties that can be enjoyed in-house or purchased for home brewing! They also offer plenty of speciaty drinks like bubble tea, lemonade, hot cocoa and coffee!

A World of Tea & Beverages

At the heart of the experience is an incredible library of over 100 custom tea blends.

Diverse Selections: From the caramel-noted "Silk Road" black tea to the floral "Raspberry Rose" oolong, the variety spans black, green, white, herbal, and pu'er teas.

Interactive Tasting: You can explore "smellable" samples to find your perfect match and even choose your own vintage teacup from a charming china cabinet before your tea is served.

Beyond Hot Tea: They also serve expertly crafted bubble tea (boba), "magical lemonade," and specialty coffee for those seeking a different kind of refreshment.

The menu focuses on scratch-made, British-inspired fare with a rotating seasonal flair.

Afternoon Tea Service: Their signature three-tiered experience includes delicate finger sandwiches (like salmon mousse or roast beef), house-made scones with authentic clotted cream, and an array of petit fours and cakes.

The Walk-In Menu: For a spontaneous visit, they offer hearty comfort foods such as Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, and cottage pie.

Private Function Packages & Pricing

Rental rates typically range from $60 to $80 per hour, depending on whether the event is catered. A 18% service fee is applied to all private parties. 

Afternoon Tea Package ($45/person): A formal service including three savories, a scone with clotted cream/jam, three desserts, and three self-serve tea varieties.

Sweet Cream Tea Package ($17/person): A lighter option featuring one scone, two desserts, and self-serve tea.

Children’s Party Package ($200): A 2-hour event for up to 10 children, including cupcakes, cookies, lemonade, and bottomless tea.

Off-site Catering: Apothica also offers off-site catering and mobile pop-ups for external local events.
